  1. I think it would be very hard for a sportsbook to create a social network. Can any brand?

    I’m not sure what you mean by community along then again maybe that’s your point. For me sportsbooks need to try harder to keep users on their sites for longer and increase the number of return visits. Most do this by offering streaming or casino products.

    Streaming and casino products are definitely good techniques at keeping users on sites for longer but do they help retain users?

    In an upcoming podcast with Jon Strock from Le Croupier he talks about how they are trying to create an entertainment product that offers users more than just the ability to gamble. By doing this they’ll give users more reasons to return to the site and when there stay for longer.
