Marty Carroll – Consultancy Director

As Director of Consulting at Foviance, Marty Carroll heads up a team of user experience consultants, providing high-level consultancy to FTSE 100 companies on how they can create compelling customer experiences.

Marty has ultimate responsibility for engaging with Foviance’s high-profile clients including Sky, the BBC and Royal Mail. He has been the driving force behind the Foviance service set which provide brands with clear guidance on how to transform their customer experience. Marty is an industry authority on human behaviour in the context of brand-customer relationships, with particular emphasis on multi-channel customer experience.

Marty lectures at the IDM and a number of universities, as well as speaking regularly at industry events. He is the author of a number of papers on user experience and is the founder of the UK Chapter of the Usability Professionals Association. Marty holds a BA in Psychology, an MSc in Human Factors, a diploma in marketing and is currently completing an MBA.

Marty lives in London with his wife and daughter.
