I assumed that *everyone* knew this, and just as I was shaking my head in disbelief, I heard someone say under their breath, &quot;Oh, I didn&#039;t know that!&quot;

I agree that there is no set definition of what constitutes the knowledge of a beginner or expert user of the internet.
