Moustache revival takes hold of Foviance men

Team Foviance participate in this years Movember cancer awareness drive

London, UK, 29th October 2009 – Foviance, the expert in customer experience, has an office full of health conscious young men and decided to take an extra step in caring for men’s health.

Movember began back in 2003 with 30 Australian men who wanted to bring back the moustache. Now it focuses on health, in particular on prostate cancer, urging men to discuss the very real health issue they face. Foviance’s very own Token Aussie Bloke, Chris Holmes, is delighted with the initiative and said, “Streuth! The thing I love about Movember is that it allows you to support two good causes at once: more healthy man parts for the blokes, and more pash rash for the ladies. Fair dinkum.”

Team Foviance has been set up to run for the month of November with men registering with a clean shaven face and the ‘Movember’ participants, known as Mo Bros, have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustache, raising money and awareness along the way.

In 2008, 173,435 people took part with proceeds going directly to The Prostate Cancer Charity. The Movember charity has stated “Our vision is to be a ‘best practice’ charity that opens up a new generation of philanthropy through our fun approach, smart use of technology, innovative marketing, low cost-to-fundraising ratios and in partnership with The Prostate Cancer Charity the delivery of tangible outcomes”.

Foviance is proud to be part of this charitable and beneficial event and will ‘grow’ all the way to raise as much money as possible.
