Global gurus recognise Foviance innovation and insight
Our senior figures have been speaking and presenting at conferences around the world. At the annual UPA conference in Baltimore (16-20th June 2008), Catriona Campbell and David Bomphrey presented an all-day tutorial on Combining the Qualitative and Quantitative in Web 2.0. Following on from Catriona’s enormously popular 90 minute paper delivered at UPA 2007, the workshop looked at web analytics packages, surveys and other solutions in combination with standard field research and usability methods to feed into a single dashboard. The UPA conference was, as usual packed with the great and the good from the usability world, and it was great to see how Foviance’s innovative work has been recognized by our peers around the world. Catriona and David had particularly interesting conversations with people like Steve Krug and Jared Spool.
Back in Europe
Catriona then raced back from the US to appear on a panel at the Online Marketing Show (25th June 2008) in London on Measuring Engagement. Also on the panel were Robert Horler, MD, Diffiniti, Matthew Dodd, VP research & analytics, EMEA, Nielsen Online and Rufus Evison, digital strategy director, Dunnhumby.
Over in Paris, our CEO Paul Blunden has been speaking at the Knexus Digital Marketing – Look to the Future conference, presenting our cross-channel research linking the call-centers and web sites of major UK retailers.
