Emotional Engagement Measurement ™
Emotional Engagement Measurement™ (EEM™) provides organisations with an assessment of their customers’ emotional response to an online experience and recommendations for how the experience can be improved from an emotional perspective.
It does this by providing measurement across five key areas of engagement:
- Cognitive attention – Measures the mental effort applied to a task
- Visual Attention – Assesses how intensely people are visually engaged
- Emotional Attraction -Gauges the degree to which respondents are positively or negatively affected by stimulus
- Emotional Engagement – Reveals the patter of visceral (instinctive) activity during the experience
- Apprehension / Excitement index – Reveals how people respond to specific incidents
Measurements are captured against the criteria above by analysing the interactions of participants when attempting tasks or carrying out scenarios in a controlled environment. The data is gathered by a consultant with a behavioural psychology background using observations and outputs from EEG and Eye Tracking Technologies.
Foviance recently carried out research on EEM™ and the white paper is now avaiable for Download.
