Welcome to the February newsletter
We feel honoured this month to discover that we're working in one of the best professions, according to US News & World Report. It's interesting that usability consultancy is being noticed in mainstream studies like this, and people are starting to notice the impact it is having on companies worldwide.
Perhaps you'd like honorary membership of our noble profession? We're looking for companies that can help with Sean's research into four wonders of the web - mysteries of web analytics that are yet to be solved. We can promise you anonymity and an inside track on some cutting edge research into user behaviour online.
In my column, I stress the importance of measuring behaviour between channels and Hina looks at how contextual enquiry research can be accelerated. Paul's been studying over-60s and finds a user group that's extremely enthusiastic and active online, but which many designers are neglecting. And Lis's regular column on usability and accessibility urges a creative approach to conflict resolution when usability and accessibility are at loggerheads.
As ever, I'll be pleased to receive your thoughts on this newsletter or to talk to you about how we can improve your customer experience. Please email me or call me on 08450 546 500.
Marty
